On Nov. 16, ASLCSC hosted the Jar Wars event finale at the Silverthorne Theatre.
During the annual event, prizes were given out to LC State audience members, which included Beats headphones, a JBL Speaker, and a “Mystery Box,” which was revealed to be a jar of pickles.
ASLCSC President, Caden Massey, explained that the purpose behind the event allows “people to compete against each other in fundraising for the club of their choice.”
According to ASLCSC’s Instagram, the top four earners of the night were: Vicki Swift for Silverthorne Theatre Club, Sydnee Swift for Geology Club, Amando Juarez for the LCSC Soccer Club, and Caden Massey for The Gaming Club.
These clubs each received $250 dollars from ASLCSC for their diligent fundraising. ASLCSC’s goal was to raise $2,000 and $2,174.27 in total was raised.
