This week, students were inquiring on President Pemberton’s favorite things and everything we need to get to know her. 
Middle name: My middle name is Lee, named after my grandmother - Lena. 
Birthday: October 2nd 
Favorite color: Green 
Favorite ice cream flavor: Vanilla 
Favorite dessert: Warm cookies with vanilla ice cream melting on top. 
Favorite meal: BBQ steak (on the rare side of medium rare), salad, warm crusty bread with olive oil/herb dipping sauce. 
Favorite junk food: Potato chips 
Favorite band: Beatles
Favorite location: Mountains   
 Favorite show: Don’t really have one…  
 Favorite movie: Dr. Zhivago, and in a dead-heat for 2nd favorite(s): What about Bob? Legally Blonde and Groundhogs Day. 
Favorite campus building: The clock tower – it is iconic.  
Favorite tree: purple robed locust, followed by gingko. 
Favorite flower: Stargazer lily  
Favorite animal: Dolphins followed closely by cats & fish (Kali and Phin would be furious if I didn’t include cats and fish).  
Favorite board game: Operation  
Favorite card game: Pitch – we are a family of serious pitch players!
My mom especially is wick-ed-good at cards, and frequently reminds us “There are no friends or family in cards!”
